The I’m A Celebrity pals will stand in for regular hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby as they take a break later this month.

Emily and John will present on the show on Friday, April 12, reports The Sun.

“I am absolutely over the moon to be joining This Morning with my best mate John Barrowman over Easter,” Emily told the tabloid. “It’s a dream come true to be presenting one of my favourite shows. I look forward to being on the iconic sofa.

“We’re going to have so much fun.”

Sources claimed to the newspaper that the opportunity could lead to “bigger presenting roles with ITV” for Emily.

She and John became good friends on I’m A Celebrity last year, where the pair made the final with King Of The Jungle Harry Redknapp.

While neither was crowned the winner, both Emily and John proved a hit with viewers – and there have also been rumours about them getting their own series.

Speaking at the National Television Awards earlier in 2019, where I’m A Celebrity won, Emily spilled: “There’s ideas floating around.

“At the moment everything is meetings and exciting opportunities.”

It was previously claimed that following I’m A Celebrity, Emily had been ‘inundated’ with work offers.

Reports claimed even before she had boarded the plane back to the UK, the time in the Australian jungle had done wonders for her career.

“When she lands back in the UK she’s got some huge meetings scheduled in and has some really lucrative opportunities to think about,” a source told The Sun at the time.

They added: “Emily is still stunned she managed to do so well in the jungle but she’s a natural entertainer… Out of everyone who appeared on the show, even Harry, she’s the real winner of the show because it’s opened so many doors.”

I’m A Celebrity will return for a new series this autumn.

Ant and Dec have already been confirmed to be hosting this year’s show, after Holly Willoughby stood in for Ant last year.
