Here’s all the latest from the 2019 BRITs ahead of the awards being given out tonight, including who’s performing on the BRITs so far.
BRIT Awards 2019 start time
The 2019 Brit Awards will be held TONIGHT on Wednesday, 20 February 2019 at the O2 Arena in London.
The show will air live on ITV from 8PM running until 10:20PM.
The Brits 2019 will be hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall for a second year.
Jack Whitehall said: “I am excited to be invited back to host The BRITs for a second time, I had a great time at this year’s ceremony and look forward to another exceptional night of music and entertainment.”
BRITs Chairman and Chairman & CEO of Sony Music UK and Ireland Jason Iley said: “Jack was one of the best BRITs hosts the show has seen for many years – I’m delighted he has decided to do it again next year. He was so funny and very engaging, I can’t wait to see what he will bring to the show in 2019.”
BRITs 2019 nominations
The full shortlist of nominations for the 2019 BRIT awards was revealed live on ITV at 5PM on Saturday, January 12. Host Clara Amfo announced the nominations across the one hour show.

It was previously revealed that Sam Fender is the winner of the 2019 Critics’ Choice Award, having been nominated alongside Lewis Capaldi and Mahalia.
Meanwhile, ahead of the live ceremony it’s been announced that P!nk will receive Outstanding Contribution to Music Award
BRITs 2019 performers
Acts performing at the 2019 BRITs will include Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Rag n Bone Man and Sam Smith, it’s been announced.
They’ll be joined by Little Mix, George Ezra and Jorja Smith who will all also take to the stage at tonight’s show, which will air live on ITV.
Also confirmed to be performing on the BRITs are The 1975 plus Jess Glynne and H.E.R.
