Anthony Russell, Dalton Andre Harris and Scarlett Lee were the three remaining acts in the running to be crowned The X Factor winner 2018 this weekend.

And it was Dalton Andre Harris who won The X Factor 2018 on Sunday, beating Scarlett into second place. Anthony finished in third place.

Lines to vote for the winner opened at the end of Saturday’s live show at London’s Wembley Arena following the first round of performances.

Anthony Russell performed Let It Be by The Beatles before duetting on Leave the Light On with Tom Walker. Dalton Harris sang A Song For You by Donna Hathaway and duetted with Emeli Sande on Beneath Your Beautiful.

Scarlett Lee’s Saturday song choices included a cover of Elton John’s Your Song before her duet with Robbie Williams on Angels.

Scarlett teamed up with Leona Lewis on One More Sleep, Dalton Harris belted out the Power of Love with James Arthur and Anthony performed I Predict a Riot with The Kaiser Chiefs.

Following a number of guest performances from the likes of Chic with Nile Rodgers, Ellie Goulding and Take That with Robbie Williams the winner was crowned.

Host Dermot O’Leary returned to close the vote for good before revealing the final result.

He started by revealing that in third place with the fewest votes was Anthony.

And with the most votes over the weekend, Dalton Andre Harris was crowned The X Factor 2018 winner, beating Scarlett into second place. He embraced Dermot as the result was announced and couldn’t speak as he took to the stage to perform his winner’s single the Power Of Love.
