The X Factor finalist Dalton Andre Harris has spilled all on working with Louis Tomlinson.
Dalton is one of three acts left in The X Factor 2018 and going into the final after the weekend’s semi-final result.
The singer from Jamaica is mentored by Louis Tomlinson in the Boys category, and has been talking about working with the One Direction star.
“Louis is like the Big Brother who just wants you to score all the goals,” Dalton said ahead of Saturday’s final.
He went on: “I don’t know if people get it. He’s paid big bucks to be here, we know that. That’s a part of success, you work hard, you earned it but it’s more than that for him.”
Dalton joked: “He’s at the house way too much, he doesn’t have to be here!
“He’s there for 12 hours, sometimes. If I’m doing an interview, he’s knocking on the window asking if I’m good. That’s Louis, he’s a person first and he wants us to win.
“He’s in it for us. He’s been here, done it and had success. He’s humbled by that and we work very good together, he’s very creative.”
Meanwhile, in a chat with On Demand Entertainment, Dalton teased that his debut would sound like “Everything and nothing at all that you’ve ever heard.”
Ahead of Saturday’s X Factor final, bookies have made Dalton the firm favourite to win The X Factor this year.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for bookmakers BoyleSports commented: “Dalton looks to have the X Factor title in the bag as he once again shortens and is now red hot at 2/9 to win.”
Dalton’s fellow Boys category singer mentored by Louis Tomlinson Anthony Russell is second in line while Simon Cowell’s Girls category singer Scarlett Lee finds herself chalked up as the outsider to take the title.
The X Factor airs on Saturday, December 1 at 7:30PM on ITV and continues with the final results show on Sunday at 7:30PM.
