The X Factor 2018’s latest theme and guest stars have been revealed for the semi-final – but who’s at risk of leaving next?

The X Factor’s live shows continued last weekend with a ‘Big Band’ theme.

Two more contestants got the boot in the latest X Factor 2018 results as Shan Ako and Bella Penfold were both eliminated. Plus, there were guest performances from Cheryl and Tom Walker.

It starts all over again on Saturday night with a brand new theme: Mamma Mia week.

ABBA legends Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are joining with The X Factor to celebrate the success of this year’s smash hit film MAMMA MIA! Here We Go Again.

Benny will host a masterclass with the show’s six semi-finalists this coming week while Björn will be at the studio to watch them perform ABBA tracks from the MAMMA MIA! movies.

Benny said: “I am very happy to be hosting a masterclass and hear the last six contestants perform our songs. I am thrilled The X Factor is celebrating the MAMMA MIA! film soundtracks.”

Bjorn added: “I am looking forward to being at The X Factor studio on Saturday night and see how the contestants put their own spin on our songs just as Cher, Meryl Streep, Lily James and the rest of the cast did in the movies.”

In addition, there will be a special performance from some of the cast of the Mamma Mia movie.

Currently a total of 6 contestants are left in the competition.

Making up Robbie’s groups are just duo Acacia and Aaliyah, while the Girls’ category mentored by Simon Cowell is down to just Scarlett Lee.

In the Boys category, mentored by Louis Tomlinson, are Anthony Russell, Brendan Murray and Dalton Andre Harris. Ayda Williams leads The Overs with just Danny Tetley.

Acacia and Aaliyah may have narrowly escaped the axe on Sunday after a THIRD time in the sing-off but bookies don’t see them surviving a fourth week.

With another two acts set to leave, it’s only a 2/1 shot that Brendan is given his marching orders. 9/4 says that Danny waves goodbye to the competition at the semi-final stage.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the market, favourite Dalton is given odds of just 1/4 to emerge as this year’s winner.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It’s a tight three-horse race between A Star, Brendan and Danny to say thank you for the music and leave the show this weekend.”

The X Factor airs on ITV this Saturday at 8PM and continues with the semi-final results show at 8PM on the Sunday.
