Tonight sees the first episode of new ITV1 talent show Born To Shine, which will see celebs taught new skills by talented youngsters. On this evening's first show, Nick Moran will learn to play the piano, Jodie Prenger finds out how to rap while and Michael Underwood and Angellica Bell tap dance.
Hosted by Natasha Kaplinksy, this unique format will see the celebrities perform their brand new skill live on the show, with a public vote deciding which one goes through to the final - and it's all for charity.
Natasha, who is an ambassador for Save the Children, says: “The programme will see some very talented children passing on their skills to a range of top celebrities. I am excited by the prospect of seeing how the famous faces tackle the challenges and delighted that they’re all doing it to help raise money for Save the Children, a charity very close to my heart.”
Under the watchful eye of their young mentors, the celebrities will be hoping they can hold their nerve as they perform to impress both the public and a judging panel, headed by Denise Van Outen and Jason Gardiner, who will be joined by a surprise celebrity judge each week. This week’s guest judge is Kimberley Walsh.
Born to Shine starts at 8PM on ITV1.
