Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges lands his own BBC One show

24-year-old stand up comic Kevin Bridges has reportedly landed his own primetime BBC One show, inventively titled The Kevin Bridges Show (working title). According to The Sum, the six-part comedy series will air later this year on the channel.

The Scottish comedian impressed BBC bosses with his previous appearances on Live At The Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and most recently Channel 4's Comedy Gala.

A pal told the newspaper: "It's great news for Kevin. He's working on loads of new gags - and they won't be jokes that only Scots will get."
