New X Factor boy band United Vibe have made this year’s live shows.

Last weekend the remaining 24 X Factor acts jetted off to Judges’ Houses in a bid to land a coveted place in the live shows.

Offering a glimpse into the jet set lifestyle that The X Factor winner could have, the Groups performed for mentor Robbie Williams in LA.

With crucial decisions to be made, each judge had help at hand from guest judges who know all about what it takes to make it in the industry. Robbie teamed up with good friend and award-winning Britain’s Got Talent judge, David Walliams.

Robbie had four places in the live shows to give out – and United Vibe – then called Vibe 5 – were hoping to win one of them.

The boy band is made up of 18-year-old Jon Guelas Burrell, 16-year-old Jack Tisdale, 16-year-old Blaise, 18-year-old Elliot Horne and 21-year-old Kieran Harrison.

They were put together at the Six Chair Challenge, revealing at Wembley: “We all applied as solo artists unfortunately they said no to us. We got given a lifeline by the judges and were put in a group.

“This is the first time the judges are going to see us perform and we just want to show we have the potential to go all the way.”

For their judges’ houses audition, they sang James Arthur’s Say You Won’t Let Go.

It saw them given a yes from Robbie as one of his four finalists in the live shows.

Robbie told the boys: “I can already see defined roles happening in my eyes which is great. There’s something for everybody.”

Speaking ahead of the live shows, the boys said this week: “We are so excited, we literally cannot wait, we’ve done all the choreography now which is sick! We just hope the audience like it.”

That was followed by the group jumping into the pool – followed by Robbie.

Other acts in the live shows for the Groups category are duo Acacia, 15 and Aaliyah, 14, LMA Choir, 18-40 from Liverpool and Misunderstood made up of Stefan, 25 and Jeff, 27 both from London.

The X Factor 2018 live shows begin Saturday at 8:25PM on ITV and continue at 8PM on Sunday.
