Host of new ITV1 show Born to Shine, Natasha Kaplinsky has said that the primetime programme will showcase some "jaw-dropping" talents from young teenagers. Speaking to new! magazine this week, Natasha added she was looking forward to presenting the new series.
The former reader, who defected from the BBC to Channel 5 to become the UK's highest paid newsreader, will return to TV for the first time since becoming a mum when the new shows starts on Sunday.
Explaining the concept of the show, Natasha said: "Celebrities care an going to be taught a new skill - whether it's playing the piano or doing a street dance - by extremely talented young children. I've seen some of the children in action and it really is jaw-droping stuff. The celebrities will be performing live on stage."
And the former reader confessed that she'd never take part in the show as a celebrity.
"I wouldn't have the courage!" she laughed. "I've done my performance on stage with Strictly and, thankfully, walked away unscathed."
Asked whether she was looking forward to taking part in live telly again, Natasha continued: "It's a great job and I'm really looking forward to it. You'll have to ask me afterwards whether this is something I want to do often. What I love about the show is the fact that it's about children."
She added: "Becoming a mum has been the most fantastic experience ever."
