Here are the latest X Factor 2018 odds ahead of the Six Chair Challenge.

The new series of The X Factor continued on Saturday with the final round of auditions.

This year there was no bootcamp, with judges instead culling a number of acts in a brutal deliberation round ahead of the Six Chair Challenge.

Shan, who is in the Girls category mentored by Simon Cowell, is currently the one to beat as the 25-year-old session singer from Croydon is the strong 3/1 favourite.

Anthony Russell is the strongest of the Boys category at 6/1. Russell made it through to the six chair challenge last year, before bowing out due to personal reasons, which saw him undergo six months in rehab with the help of now mentor Louis Tomlinson.

Irish X Factor hopeful Brendan Murray is another of the boys through to the Six Chair Challenge and tipped to do well.

The Galway native, who represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017, has seen his odds shorten to win ahead of the gruelling six chair challenge and he is now joint third in the betting at 7/1, having been initially installed as a 10/1 shot to win.

Also priced at 7/1 is Bella Penfold, a 19-year-old hotel singer from Essex, who wowed with her energetic performance and has been likened to Joss Stone.

Topping the Groups, who have Robbie Williams to guide them and decide their fate, are Misunderstood at 14/1. The group is made up of Stephan Benson and Jeffrey Okyere, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2010 as part of Myztikal, making it all the way to the semi-finals.

Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Our very own Brendan Murray may have failed to qualify for the Eurovision Final, but it looks as though he has nothing to worry about ahead of the six chair challenge as punters continue to show their support for the Tuam native, backing him into 7/1 from 10/1.”

She added “Simon Cowell is leading the charge for the judges after getting the Girls category, who have current 3/1 favourite Shan, Bella Penfold (7/1) and Georgia Burgess (10/1) all in the top five in the betting.”
