Soccer Aid 2018 teams: Line up of celebrities revealed

Here are the line up of celebrities making up the Soccer Aid 2018 teams.

Usain Bolt’s Soccer Aid World XI go head to head with Robbie Williams’ England XI for the eagerly anticipated Soccer Aid for Unicef 2018 match at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium, as part of a new look charity campaign for Unicef UK and ITV.

The match will air on ITV tonight (Sunday, June 10) from 6:30PM.

Presented by Dermot O’Leary and Kirsty Gallacher, Soccer Aid for Unicef 2018 will see two teams made up of a host of famous faces from the entertainment industry and some of world football’s most iconic legends, all set to walk out onto Manchester United’s Theatre of Dreams pitch on Sunday 10th June.

This year’s Soccer Aid for Unicef features an impressive line-up of celebrities and former sportsmen.

To date, Soccer Aid has raised £24 million for Unicef UK

The UK government will match every £1 donated by the public through its UK Aid Match scheme, doubling the difference for children in danger around the world.

Robbie Williams, Unicef UK Ambassador and co-founder of Soccer Aid, said: “I am buzzing that Soccer Aid for Unicef is back. Reclaiming the title for England this year is going to taste so much sweeter with Usain leading the Soccer Aid World XI.

“He’s giving it all the big talk and showing off his lightning bolts right now, but come Sunday 10th June at Old Trafford, he’ll be left quaking in his big size thirteens! I can’t wait to lead out the England team in what really is a game like no other. With your support, we will help children in danger around the world.”

Usain Bolt, Soccer Aid World XI added: “It is my dream to make it as a professional footballer, so to be able to step out onto the pitch at Old Trafford in June, and play against some of football’s biggest legends is going to be remarkable.

“I enjoy the thrill of competition in front of a crowd, so Robbie and his England team better watch out as I won’t be going easy on them! I’ve got a pretty special celebration planned for when I score, by the way. 100% of all public donations to Soccer Aid for Unicef will go towards supporting the vital work protecting children in the UK and globally. The money raised through profits from ticket sales and viewer donations during the match will add to the incredible £24 million that has already been raised through Soccer Aid over the last 12 years.
