Keith & Paddy Picture Show does Top Gun all star cast of celebrities revealed

The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is back with Keith and Paddy’s version of Top Gun – but who’s on the cast?

The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is an affectionate and humorous tribute to some of Keith and Paddy’s favourite movies of all time. Each week they will attempt to recreate an iconic film, with the help of an all-star celebrity cast.

Each half hour episode will be a mix of high-end film parodies and behind-the-scenes mock-doc footage following the boys as they endeavour to bring their recreations to life. What could possibly go wrong…?

This weekend’s second episode of series 2 showcases their version of Top Gun, where they are once again joined by an all star line up of celebrities.

Familiar faces on the cast include Keith Allen, Sarah Parish, Marc Warren and a Chuckle Brother.

The original was famed for its military accuracy so Paddy is determined that their recreation will follow suit. Unfortunately Keith signs up a military advisor who has no relevant military experience and then to make matters worse Paddy insists that the whole cast go on a what turns out to be a very ill-advised military boot camp.

All this plus jets, motorbikes, erotic love scenes and one half of the Chuckle Brothers.

‘Stunt’ tongues were specially made to recreate the famous love scene between Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis. The scene took a long time to shoot as Keith and Paddy were laughing so much.

Keith teased: “In our Top Gun it’s very homoerotic! It’s a thread running all the way through and by the end we all do come rather close, don’t we?

“There’s tongues…Marc Warren who plays Iceman likes to use tongues!”

Paddy added: “That was a sight to behold! It really is one of the funniest episodes we’ve ever done because of the jokes and also the people we had in it, like Marc, Keith Allen, Sarah Parish and Paul Chuckle…”

Keith quipped: “I was just excited to be acting and getting paid for it, so I was like, ‘If you want to use tongues then I’m not bothered!’.”

This is the second episode of the series, with Keith an Paddy’s versions of Pretty Woman, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park. The first episode saw the duo take on Grease.
