Series 2 of Marcella continued with more than 3 million viewers on ITV last night.
Written by Hans Rosenfeld and starring Anna Friel, Marcella returned to ITV in February for a brand new eight-part series.
3.4 million viewers tuned in to the latest episode last night (Monday, April 1), down slightly - 100,000 viewers - on last week's instalment. The series concludes next Monday night on ITV.
It was the soaps that topped the night, with Coronation Street averaging 7.5 million and 7.6 million for its two episodes - both up week-on-week.
The shows peaked with 8.5 million viewers as the fate of Pat Phelan was revealed to the audience at home.
Emmerdale had 6.4 million on ITV with The Kyle Files averaging 2.5 million sandwiched between them all, down 300,000 on last Monday.
On BBC One, EastEnders was watched by 6 million, a rise of 400,000 viewers on last week. Classic Mary Berry continued with 2.2 million (upp 200,000) while MasterChef's new series had 4.1 million viewers, up 100,000 on last Monday.
Later, Lenny Henry documentary The Commonwealth Kid had 2.3 million viewers in the 9PM hour.
Elsewhere, over 2 million viewers tuned in for the return of The Island with Bear Grylls on Channel 4. Earlier, 1.5 million tuned the start of Travel Man's 2018 series.
On Channel 5, 1.5 million watched the latest episode of Paddington Station 24/7.
