Series 2 of Marcella continued with more than 3 million viewers on ITV last night.
Written by Hans Rosenfeld and starring Anna Friel, Marcella returned to ITV last month for a brand new eight-part series.
3.5 million viewers tuned in to the latest episode last night (Monday, March 26), up 300,000 viewers on last week but still slightly down on the 3.7 million who watched the opening episode.
It was the soaps that topped the night, with Coronation Street averaging 7.5 million and 7.4 million for its two episodes - both up week-on-week.
Emmerdale had 6.4 million on ITV with The Kyle Files averaging 2.8 million sandwiched between them all, also up on last week.
On BBC One, EastEnders was watched by 5.6 million, a drop of 400,000 viewers on last Monday. Classic Mary Berry continued with 2 million (down 200,000) while MasterChef's new series had 4 million viewers, down 100,000 on last Monday.
Later, The Queen's Commonwealth Story had 2.4 million viewers at 9PM.
Elsewhere, two million watched the return of BBC Two documentary Hospital, matched by 24 Hours In Police Custody on Channel 4.
1.2 million tuned in for Channel 5's Paddington Station 24/7.
Finally, on E4, 400,000 viewers watched the latest episode of Made In Chelsea.
