X Factor's Louisa Johnson has a brand new single has debuted at Number 65 on the charts.

Unusually for an X Factor winner, Louisa has still yet to put out her album despite appearing on the show back in 2015.

In 2016, the champ of the 12th series collaborated on 'Tears' with Clean Bandit before releasing her first solo single 'So Good'.

More recently, Louisa released new single Best Behaviour and collaborated on fellow X Factor star Olly Murs' latest song Unpredictable.

Now she's released new track Yes, which features US rapper 2CHAINZ. The song was made available to download on March 16.

The track is described as "an explosive, in your face pop banger that simply exudes energy."

'YES' is written by premier hitmaker Camille Purcell (Little Mix, The Script) alongside Bully (Chainsmokers, Galantis), and produced by Chris Loco, Goldfingers and Matt Rad.

“As soon as I recorded Yes I knew it had to be a single. It instantly became my favourite song I’ve ever worked on," Louisa said. “You can’t help but move when you hear this track, I hope everyone is ready.”

The song debuted at Number 65 on Friday in the singles chart, selling just under 6,000 copies.

As for when Louisa's debut album will be out, that remains to be seen.

While the record was originally slated to ship in November last year, Louisa's album on Amazon is now showing as 'Currently unavailable'.

But she recently tweeted to reassure fans: "It's coming and I thank you guys so much for sticking with me. Honestly it will be SO worth it 😏"

And Louisa added: "Honestly, So. F**king. Worth it. You might wee a bit."

Right now no official release date for Louisa's album has been set, with the talented teen previously revealing she planned to put out more singles before the album drops - "hopefully" in 2018.

Louisa told the Daily Star newspaper in 2017: "So much has happened since I won the show. I went back to the TV studio the other week and even though it was a different studio it was still weird."

Saying she "hoped" her album would be out next year, Louisa teased: "You will definitely get a new song in January and then from there consistent songs which is really really good – finally!"
