With The X Factor all wrapped up for another year, we take a look at this year’s biggest performances from the series.
Based on online hits and shares, here are the performances that have garnered the most interest these past six months.
Alisah Bonaobra’s room audition notched up more than 5 million views online after she wowed the judges with Beyonce’s Listen. “You’re this tiny little thing with this voice given from God, blowing everybody away,” commented Nicole.
Biggest bootcamp performance
Alisah once again topped the performances at bootcamp. Having narrowly avoiding the axe in her group performance, Alisah had “a point to prove” (Simon’s words) in round two – and prove it she did with a powerful rendition of Wicked track ‘Defying Gravity’, which earned her a standing ovation from the 4,000-strong Wembley audience.
Biggest six chair challenge performance
Proving herself unstoppable in the early stages, Filipino singer Alisah demonstrated her powerful vocals once more at the Six Chair Challenge on Celine Dion’s ‘All By Myself’ to get a seat. “That is how you do it honey, that is how you fight for a seat,” exclaimed Nicole. “I’d give you two seats,” joked Louis.
Biggest judges’ houses performance
Watford boyband Rak-Su made waves on The X Factor with their original songs. They wrote a whopping NINE new songs in preparation for Judges’ Houses – but settled on one, ‘Palm Tree’. “I think you’ve got a global appeal,” guest judge Cheryl reacted.
Biggest live shows performance
After her success in the pre-recorded stages, Alisah originally didn’t make the live shows. However, viewers voted her back in a wild card twist. Alisah Bonaobra returned to the show and smashed her Week 1 performance.
Biggest final performance
Rak-Su’s victory in the final this month was the biggest moment of the entire live shows. Over 2.5 million watched their performance of winner’s duet Dimelo, which ended up charting at Number 2 in the charts.
