Former Channel 5 newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky has reportedly scored her first time presenting job, fronting new ITV1 show 'Born To Shine'. The series, which was commissioned last month, will see talented youngsters teach celebrities how to perform a variety of skills and talents.
Seeing hopeless celebs tackle everything from dancing to rapping will feature in the show, which will all be in aid of the Save The Children charity.
Newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky hasn't been on TV for a while following the birth of child and this show will mark her return to the telly. "She's perfect for the job," an insider told The Mirror.
However it seems as though ITV may have a fight on its hands for the highest paid newsreader of all time, with the BBC reportedly wanting the star for Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two.
