The X Factor 2017 finalists held their homecoming gigs this week and here’s what happened.
Rak-Su, Grace Davies and Kevin Davy White have made the grand X Factor 2017 final at London’s ExCel centre next weekend.
This week they and their battle buses went travelling to their home towns.
The traditional X Factor homecoming events saw the acts with their mentors performing a gig for friends, family and local supporters.
Grace Davies
Grace, mentored by Sharon Osbourne, headed back to her home town of Blackburn for her homecoming gig on Wednesday.
She started at the pub she used to work at before getting her bus with friends and family to visit her old primary school.
Grace concluded her homecoming gig with a live performance for fans at the city’s Cathedral Square.
Rak-Su
Mentored by Simon Cowell, four piece Rak-Su headed to Watford on their homecoming.
First heading to Watford FC with Simon, they tweeted: “Good morning guys. We’re heading back to Watford but the performance is going to be at the footy, not an open one…
“It’s always been one of our goals to put on a massive event in Watford though so after the show watch this space… we’re gunna party together! ‘A’”
The four piece also went back to their old college where they performed for students before visiting friends and family.
At the end of the day, the boys presented Simon with a Watford football shirt to celebrate him coming to Vicarage Road!
Kevin Davy White
Kevin Davy White’s mentor Nicole Scherzinger had a “special treat” lined up for the French performer.
She joined him in a tour across London, seeing Kevin busk for the public in various tourist hotspots.
He then enjoyed dinner with his girlfriend and family before Nicole revealed a surprise.
She dropped news that Kevin would be heading North to Scotland to open for reigning X Factor winner James Arthur on his tour (on Tuesday, November 28).
The X Factor 2017 returns this weekend, December 2 and 3, for the grand final.
The final three will be singing live a number of times, including their superstar duets.
The X Factor 2017 final airs on Saturday night from 7:05PM and continues Sunday at 7:30PM.
