Two contestants will leave The X Factor 2017 in Sunday night's show, it's been revealed.
This evening saw the first half of the semi-final live shows of The X Factor 2017.
It was the first time this year that the contestants performed together, having been split into their categories on separate nights until now.
All six of the remaining acts shared the stage for the first time, singing songs with a theme of 'Cool Britannia'.
Viewers again voted and the act with the fewest votes was sent home. It was Nicole Scherzinger's Overs category act Matt Linnen who was voted off tonight.
He leaves five acts for Sunday night's second semi-final.
All of the remaining semi-finalists will perform a brand new song, with a theme of 'Songs To Get You To The Final'.
But in a shock twist, TWO will be going home.
Host Dermot O'Leary shocked the contestants with the announcement at the end of the live show tonight.
"There are only three places in the final and so it'll be a double elimination," he said, "That's the first they've heard of this!"
Meanwhile, this weekend there was no prize fight but there was a special surprise for the final six, as it was confirmed they were all going on the live tour next year.
The contestants left in the contest are Simon Cowell's Groups Rak-Su and The CutKelvins and Sharon Osbourne's last Girl Grace Davies.
Plus Louis Walsh's final Boy Lloyd Macey and Nicole Scherzinger's remaining Over Kevin Davy White.
The X Factor 2017 continues Sunday night at 7:30PM live on ITV.
As well as the latest performances and elimination, there will be a special guest appearance from Ed Sheeran.
