None other than Jeremy Clarkson will host a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire revival.

And ITV have now released a very first look at the series.

The hit quiz show last aired in 2014 after starting in the 1990s.

Originally fronted by Chris Tarrant, the series is set for a revival - and former Top Gear host Jeremy will presenting.

He said: "I have always loved the show and am thrilled to be involved with its rebirth.

"I'm a big fan of quiz shows and I'm looking forward to hosting this iconic TV show and hopefully making a few millionaires!"

In a first trailer, Jeremy is seen in a throwback to his Top Gear days as he drives around in a sports car.

"Same car, new driver," a voice over quips.

ITV has teased that while the format will remain largely the same, there promises to be "new twists and turns for audiences to look forward to".

A first series of seven episodes will air nightly in May on ITV.

Original host Chris Tarrant previously poured doubt on the possibility of a comeback for the show.

Speaking last year (2017), he said: "The biggest problem is it was about making someone a millionaire. It's got to be that sort of money."

Chris told the Daily Star newspaper: "You can't call it 'Who Wants To Win £50?' It wouldn't work. You couldn't even change it to £100,000, it wouldn't be the same.

"So it's a very expensive show to make. What's interesting is that now there is no programme that gives away more than about £5,000."

"It was a brilliant format... but to go back to giving away big money the TV companies would have to be very, very sure it was going to be a big show," he added.
