X Factor’s Matt Linnen ‘dumps Grace Davies and parties with Nicole Scherzinger’
Matt Linnen has reportedly ‘dumped’ Grace Davies in more backstage X Factor drama.
It was reported last weekend that the contestants had hooked up behind the scenes.
The pair are alleged to have slept together in The X Factor house – but weren’t officially in a relationship.
“It was basically just for fun,” a source told the Daily Star newspaper of their reported fling. “They now act as if nothing has happened.”
According to the Daily Mirror, Matt has now ‘ended’ whatever he did or didn’t have with Grace.
A source explained: “Grace and Matt had a bit of a thing together, but he ended it and she is devastated. They hooked up in the kitchen on one occasion, and it looked to everyone else as if they were developing feelings for one another, but Matt cooled things off.
“There’s a bit of an atmosphere in the house, now.
“And it doesn’t help that Matt is always flirting with his mentor, Nicole Scherzinger .”
On the topic of that flirting, The Sun now reports that Matt spent last weekend partying with Nicole after the live show.
After making it through the latest public vote, Matt is said to have joined Nicole for a boozy party backstage – and paid the price the next day.
“Nicole hosted a bit of a party after the show last weekend and she and Matt ended up staying till very late drinking,” an insider spilled.
They revealed: “They get on really well and are pretty flirty with each other, though obviously it’s all innocent as Nicole is still seeing her boyfriend.
“The next day Matt was really feeling it and could barely manage rehearsals.”
The X Factor 2017 continues Saturday night at 8:10PM and Sunday at 7:30PM.
