Grace Davies has reportedly clashed with her mentor Sharon Osbourne on The X Factor 2017.
The pair are said to have locked horns behind the scenes over Grace’s alleged ‘diva behaviour’.
It was claimed earlier this week that Grace had been ‘acting as if she’s already won’.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, an insider accused: “Grace acts like she has already won and is a big star.
“All her manners seem to have gone and since winning the opening week she has developed a bit of an attitude. It needs to stop.”
Now according to The Sun newspaper, Grace’s mentor Sharon has given the singer a “stern talking to”.
“Sharon is having none of it and after she heard some of the talk about Grace’s behaviour backstage, she pulled her into her dressing room at the studios,” a source said. “She told her to get her attitude in check because success in showbiz is all about working with people and getting the best team around you.”
They added: “It was very awkward for all involved, but hopefully that’ll be the end of the matter and Grace will get back to her best.”
A source close to Grace defended her alleged ‘attitude’, saying she is merely keen to do well in the competition.
They explained: “After years of performing in clubs and bars with little recognition, Grace hopes that this is her time for a big break in the music industry.
“This matters so much and she is beside herself that people may mistake her need to be a perfectionist as being difficult.
“The reality is she’s worked so hard for this and is taking the competition very seriously.”
The X Factor airs this Saturday at 8:10PM and Sunday at 7:30PM on ITV.
FOUR acts will be heading home and there will be performances from Harry Styles and Paloma Faith.
