X Factor 2017 contestants put on voice rest ahead of latest live show

A number of X Factor acts are on voice rest ahead of this weekend’s latest live shows.

And with a quadruple eviction looming, that could be very bad news for them…

According to the Daily Star newspaper Price Brothers Sean and Conor, Holly Tandy and Matt Linnen have all been ordered to take time out.

A source told the tabloid: “They’ve started dropping like flies. They’re all having early nights and resting their bodies and voices.”

“We can’t afford no-shows – there are two double evictions, so four acts are going to get the boot,” they added.

The pressure is on the acts this week after a shock double-double elimination bombshell was dropped at the end of last Sunday’s latest episode.

The X Factor returns on Saturday and Sunday and this time around two acts will leave on both nights.

It means the current crop of 12 acts will be whittled down to just eight after what will be their third live performances.

Once again, two categories will perform on Saturday’s show and two categories on the Sunday night, singing the songs of the late George Michael, although which categories will sing when hasn’t yet been revealed.

After the latest exits, currently a total of 12 acts remain in the competition’s final stages.

They are Simon Cowell’s Groups Rak-Su, The CutKelvins, Sean and Conor Price and wildcard Jack & Joel, Sharon Osbourne’s Girls Grace Davies, Rai-Elle Williams, Holly Tandy and wildcard Alisah Bonaobra.
