X Factor 2017: Rak-Su and Kevin Davy White lead iTunes chart sales

Rak-Su’s original songs from The X Factor 2017 live shows have both made the Top 10 of the iTunes chart.

As has become customary in recent years, studio versions of all the tracks sung on the live shows have been released for download via iTunes.

And it allows us all to see exactly how popular the acts are with those who could actually buy their music.

On Saturday night saw the Groups and Boys perform and all eight of the performances have been released onto iTunes to download, as well as Apple Music to stream.

Rak-Su’s new original song Dimelo is currently the highest ranked of them all, at Number 2 in the overall iTunes chart at the time of writing.

It’s two places ahead of the group’s song from the previous weekend, Mamacita, which has returned to the Top 10 following the latest live show.

Meanwhile, Kevin Davy White’s cover of Smooth is currently just outside the Top 10 at Number 13 after he performed with the Overs and Girls on Sunday night.

It’s not too surprising given that we know both acts topped their respective votes, going head to head in the prize fight which Kevin won.

Elsewhere in the charts, Grace Davies is up to Number 18 with her first performance, original song Too Young. Her latest performance, a cover of Ciao Adios, is at Number 42.

Further on down, Matt Linnen is at Number 75 with Livin’ La Vida Loca while at Number 92 is Holly Tandy with Despacito.

Outside the Top 100, Rai-Elle Williams is at Number 107 with Bailando, Lloyd Macey ranks at Number 135 with Hero and Alisah Bonaobra is at Number 167 with Let’s Get Loud.

None of the other performances currently appear in the iTunes Top 200 downloads.
