X Factor 2017 contestants Grace Davies and Matt Linnen are said to have hooked up behind the scenes.

The pair are alleged to have slept together in The X Factor house – but aren’t officially in a relationship.

“It was basically just for fun,” a source said of their reported fling. “They now act as if nothing has happened.”

Following Grace and Matt’s supposed hook up, an insider claimed that contestants in the house were “super horny”

“This is the sexiest series yet,” they told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper. “There are a lot of attractive people in the house so some contestants are bound to be hooking up.

“But contestants are worried that people talking about flings will affect the votes – they’re petrified their fans will turn their back on them.

“Nobody has done anything wrong, at the end of the day Grace and Matt are both single.”

A spokesperson for The X Factor didn’t comment on the claims.

Meanwhile, the latest act to be booted out Leon Mallett has denied any romantic link between himself and fellow singer Alisah Bonaobra.

“To be fair, she’s probably the person I’ve spoken to least in the house,” he told DigitalSpy. “We had a laugh about all the rumours though – but I think that’s the only time we have spoken!”

X Factor romances are nothing new with last year seeing Emily Middlemas and Ryan Lawrie competing on the show while coupled up.

But Emily revealed how the show’s security team were tasked with stopping any ‘inappropriate behaviour’.

“The guards stay up all night in the corridor,” she said, “It’s impossible. If we’re lucky, we can steal a kiss for a minute but that’s as far as it can go.”

The X Factor 2017 continues tonight live on ITV from 7:05PM on ITV.

It’ll be the turn of the Girls and Overs to sing before one more act is sent home, while Rita Ora will be taking a guest appearance.
