Paloma Faith and Harry Styles will perform on The X Factor 2017 next weekend, it’s been confirmed.
One Direction star Harry and former The Voice UK coach Paloma have been revealed as Week 3’s guest stars.
Harry will sing on the Saturday night and Paloma will take to the stage on Sunday evening.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The bosses were desperate to get Harry on board this year and they are delighted he has managed to find the time to perform.
“He is part of The X Factor’s biggest success story, so asking him was a no-brainer.”
The insider added: “The bosses are sure he will be a major ratings boost for the show, as well as giving Simon the chance to publicly show his support for him as a solo artist. This is a real coup for them.”
Meanwhile, the contestants left remaining on the show will be taking on their latest theme, the music of the late George Michael.
Once again, two categories will perform on Saturday’s show and two categories on the Sunday night, although which categories will sing when hasn’t yet been revealed.
And in a further twist, it’ll be a DOUBLE ELIMINATION on both nights, meaning a total of four acts will head home.
Currently a total of 12 contestants remain in the competition’s final stages.
They are Simon Cowell’s Groups Rak-Su, The CutKelvins, Sean and Conor Price and wildcard Jack & Joel, Sharon Osbourne’s Girls Grace Davies, Rai-Elle Williams, Holly Tandy and wildcard Alisah Bonaobra.
Plus Louis Walsh’s Boys Lloyd Macey and Sam Black and Nicole Scherzinger’s Overs Kevin Davy White and Matt Linnen.
The X Factor 2017 continues next Saturday at 8:10PM and Sunday night at 7:30PM on ITV.
