Sheridan Smith stars in her very own one-off TV special tonight on ITV.
This lavish one-off special sees the multi award-winning actress and singer, Sheridan Smith, headline her very own show for the first time.
In a celebration of her love of music and performing, the star of ITV shows such as Mrs Biggs and Cilla – for which she won a BAFTA Award – showcases exclusive performances of songs from her new album as well as other musical numbers, all accompanied by a live orchestra.
Sheridan also talks with host Alexander Armstrong about her life and stratospheric career.
The singer and actress opens up about her stage career, with roles in Legally Blonde and Funny Girl.
Sheridan left the latter role before heading to a retreat to get help for her depression and anxiety.
In tonight's special, Sheridan sings Gnarls Barkley says: “I wanted it to be a cheeky wink to my meltdown. You come out the other side stronger. I lost my mind a bit.”
And she also opens up about her love life, saying: “I need someone who makes me laugh. My dad set the bar high.”
Sheridan airs tonight at 9PM on ITV straight after The X Factor.
