Grace Davies’ odds of winning The X Factor have only strengthened after the first live show.
The singer-songwriter has been the favourite to win this year’s series ever since her first audition in the opening episode.
Following Saturday’s live show, where she topped the public vote, Grace Davies has further shortened as the favourite to win. Grace, whose original song Too Young is currently number 2 in the iTunes chart, has been cut into 6/4 from 2/1 to win.
Rak-Su are the new 11/4 second favourites, having shortened in from 4/1 after they won the second public vote and made it into the prize fight sing off against Grace with their original track Mamacita.
Holly Tandy has been eased out to 6/1 from 4/1 whilst The CutKelvins remain 8/1 shots to win.
Blessington brothers, Sean and Conor Price have drifted right out to 12/1 from 8/1 to win, off the back of their first live show performance.
Of other other categories, Lloyd Macey is favourite of the Boys at 16/1 while Matt Linnen leads the Overs at 25/1.
Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented: “Grace Davies is going to be tough to beat as she continues to shorten to win and is now the 6/4 frontrunner. Her original tracks have won the hearts of the public and saw her take the first prize fight title, which spark the start of a long winning streak.”
She added “Rak-Su were the other stand out act from the first of the live shows, thanks to their catchy original track which forced us to shorten them to 11/4 from 4/1.”
