X Factor's Grace Davies is outselling Liam Payne on iTunes

X Factor’s Grace Davies is currently outselling One Direction’s Liam Payne with her original song.

As has become customary in recent years, studio versions of all the tracks sung on the X Factor live shows have been released for download via iTunes.

And it allows us all to see exactly how popular the acts are with those who could actually buy their music.

Last night saw the Girls and Boys perform and all eight of the performances have been released onto iTunes to download, as well as Apple Music to stream.

Grace’s original song Too Young is currently the highest ranked of them all, at Number 12 in the overall iTunes chart at the time of writing.

That’s five places higher than former 1D star Liam Payne and his song Bedroom Floor which he also performed live on last night’s show.

It’s perhaps no surprise then that bookies say Grace is ‘running away’ with The X Factor this year.

The 20-year-old is 2/1 to go all the way in this year’s competition following Saturday night’s show.

Grace has led form the offset and is the most backed contestant in the competition by some distance – and bookmakers Ladbrokes report they’ve taken almost double the amount of bets on her as they have on any other act so far this weekend.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The switch to Live shows has done very little to the outright market at this early stage – although Grace’s odds of winning have taken yet another trim. It looks like the other contestants will be playing catch-up for much of the series.”

Meanwhile, tonight’s show will see the Overs and Groups’ debut live performances.

Their songs will be released to download and stream straight after the show finishes.

The X Factor is back Sunday night at 7PM on ITV with the latest live performances and second elimination of the series.
