Who left The X Factor 2017 tonight? The second result of the series has been revealed.
This evening saw the second stage of the first live shows of The X Factor 2017 with a brand new format.
The contestants this year are performing in separate nights in their categories and this evening the Overs and Groups were in the spotlight.
And it was Talia Dean who was next to be voted off the show.
She follows in the footsteps of Spencer Sutherland who was eliminated on Saturday night following the Boys and Girls' performances.
This year there is no sing off and the results are on the same night, decided by the viewer poll alone.
After the Overs and Groups performed tonight, the vote opened for just 5 minutes. Host Dermot O'Leary then welcomed back the contestants before announcing the results.
Ranked bottom and voted off The X Factor in tonight's results was Talia Dean, the wild card in the Overs category who had only just been voted into the live shows by viewers.
Talia told Dermot: "I've had an amazing time, I can't be sad."
Meanwhile, it was revealed that Rak-Su had topped the latest public vote. They will go forward to a new sing-off format against Grace Davies from the Girls category, who topped Saturday's vote.
The pair will both perform again in a new twist, competing for a special prize, which this week is a masterclass session with P!nk in New York.
Elsewhere, tonight's latest live show saw a guest performance from Stormzy.
A total of 14 now remain in the competition's final stages ahead of next weekend's second live shows.
They are Simon Cowell's Groups Rak-Su, The CutKelvins, Sean and Conor Price and wildcard Jack & Joel, Sharon Osbourne's Girls Grace Davies, Rai-Elle Williams, Holly Tandy and wildcard Alisah Bonaobra.
Plus Louis Walsh's Boys Lloyd Macey, Sam Black and wildcard Leon Mallett and Nicole Scherzinger's Overs Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen and Tracy Leanne Jefford.
The X Factor 2017 continues next Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
