The X Factor wildcard 2017 acts have been confirmed in tonight’s first live show
The four acts given a second chance in the competition have been revealed with the official results on Saturday night.
At the end of judges’ houses last Sunday the final 12 finalists were confirmed. But viewers had the opportunity to give another chance to acts who had been sent home, voting them through to the live shows this weekend.
There are a total of FOUR wild card acts on The X Factor 2017 – one in each category – who will join the 12 finalists chosen by the judges.
Who are The X Factor wildcards?
Alisah Bonaobra is the Wild Card for the Girls category while Talia Dean is the Overs wild card.
Leon Mallett won the Boys wildcard vote while Jack & Joel are the Groups wild card for The X Factor 2017.
The total of 16 acts through to the competition’s final stage is the joint biggest line up to date.
Those already confirmed are Simon’s Groups Rak-Su, The CutKelvins and Sean and Conor Price, Sharon’s Girls Grace Davies, Rai-Elle Williams and Holly Tandy, Louis’ Boys Lloyd Macey, Spencer Sutherland and Sam Black and Nicole’s Overs Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen and Tracy Leanne Jefford.
The wildcards will be revealed on Saturday before performing live alongside the rest of the contestants.
This year will see contestants’ performances split between the Saturday and Sunday nights.
For the first weekend, the Boys and Girls will perform on Saturday while the Overs and Groups will sing on Sunday.
Tonight’s opening theme is ‘Express Yourself’ as each act gets the chance to show exactly what they represent and who they are as a performer.
The X Factor will be live tonight (Saturday) at 8:20PM and return Sunday at 7PM with the first weekend of live singing.
