The 16-year-old student from Croydon is one of the youngest contestants in this year's competition.
Tonight we'll see Rai-Elle competing for one of three spots in the live shows alongside Alisah Bonaobra, Deanna Mussington, Holly Tandy, Georgina Panton and Grace Davies.
The girls fly off to San Francisco to meet mentor Sharon Osbourne, who makes it a family affair with son Jack and daughter Kelly helping her out.
The acts have just one more chance to impress Sharon, Jack and Kelly, with each contestant hoping to convince them that they have the star quality required to reach the live shows.
Rai-Elle sings Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, and surprises with an original rap.
"I've been working hard thinking of right the song will be," says Rai-Elle. "Today it's either go hard or go home so I'm going hard because I don't want to to home."
Will it be enough to make Sharon's top three?
Speaking ahead of judges' houses weekend, Rai-Elle said of potentially making the live shows: "It would mean the world to me. I’ve wanted this since I was young.
"I’ve always watched the show and wished it was me, I just hope I can make it."
And she added of her hopes for five years from now: "I want to be writing my own music, travelling the world and performing for fans.
"I’ve always dreamed of performing at Madison Square Garden in New York. I would love to be up on that stage looking down at my fans."
