Two years after winning The X Factor, Louisa Johnson has still yet to release a debut album.
But, she has assured fans, it definitely IS on its way.
Although Louisa hasn't confirmed a release date for her album just yet, she tweeted this week: "New music coming I promISE!!!! I'm not lying I just don't wanna tell u yet hehehehe its soon i swear."
Explaining the decision to delay the album, Louisa said in a new interview: "I don't want to regret my first ever album, and if I'd done it a year ago, I would have."
Louisa, who says she's "most probably" going to perform on The X Factor live shows this year, said of the past two years: "Everything has changed. It feels like it's been forever, but it hasn't. I can't remember what life was like before."
After winning The X Factor in 2015 after being mentored by Rita Ora, Louisa joined Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, she said: "Every time I need Simon, he's there. I don't speak to him all the time, but he's always across everything. He still gives me feedback."
And looking to the future after her debut album, Louisa added: "I really want to take my music to America and I'd love to work with Eminem; I'd literally die if I could.
