Alisah Bonaobra says The X Factor judges' houses is the "battle of my life".
The 22-year-old singer from Philippines is one of six contestants competing in the Girls category.
Speaking about potentially making the live shows this weekend, Alisah said: "It’s so important to me. This is the battle of my life.
"I have to do this for all the people who have supported me in the Philippines and who are all praying for me to get to the live shows.
"I just want to give all my friends the chance to vote for me."
She added: "I can sing from the bottom of my heart. It’s all really me. That’s how I have to fight my dream."
Asked where she hoped to be in five years time, Alisah said: "Doing many albums, and selling out. I want to have my own sanctuary, so with money from my music I can set one up.
"And then I hope to be able to bring my family to the UK to live. I love the UK."
And Alisah, who says her music inspirations are Beyoncé and Jordan Sparks, reckons she has plenty to give viewers: "As for my musical style, I can sing Ballads, Soul and R&B, Pop, Broadway and Jazz."
Meanwhile, on mentor Sharon Osbourne, Alisah added: "She is lovely. That’s three words."
All six acts in the category will be seen flying out to San Francisco in America this weekend as they perform for mentor Sharon and her special guest judges, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, hoping for a spot in the final stage of the competition.
