It’s judges’ houses on The X Factor 2017 this weekend as the finalists are confirmed – here’s all you need to know.

What time does the X Factor start this weekend?

It’s another two part special on The X Factor this weekend with shows on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s episode begins at 8:20PM while Sunday’s show starts a little earlier at 7PM.

What are the judges’ categories and locations?

This year the Boys will jet off to Istanbul to perform for Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell invites the Groups to the South of France, the Girls fly out to San Francisco to sing for Sharon Osbourne and the Overs category travels to South Africa hoping to impress Nicole Scherzinger.

Who are the X Factor guest judges?

With crucial decisions to be made, each judge has help at hand from guest judges who know all about what it takes to make it in the industry.

Simon reunites with former X Factor judge and singer Cheryl while Nicole is aided by Mobo award-winning, BRIT nominated and man of the moment, grime artist, Stormzy.

Sharon makes it a family affair with son Jack and daughter Kelly and finally, Louis is joined by Brit Award winner and Grammy nominated singer songwriter Mika.

Who are the X Factor 2017 contestants?

They are Simon Cowell’s Groups: The Cutkelvins, Rak-Su, Sean & Conor Price, Jack & Joel, Lemonade and the New Girl Band.

Nicole Scherzinger’s Overs: Kevin Davy White, Matt Linnen, Slavko, Berget Lewis, Tracy Leanne Jefford and Talia Dean.

Sharon Osbourne’s Girls: Alisah Bonaobra, Deanna Mussington, Holly Tandy, Georgina Panton, Rai-Elle and Grace Davies.

Louis Walsh’s Boys: Lloyd Macey, Leon Mallett, Spencer Sutherland, Aidan Martin, Jack Mason and Sam Black, who replaced Anthony Russell who quit.

How do judges’ houses work?

The acts will each choose their own song to perform for their mentor in an intimate, one to one setting.

Each judge will then confer with their guest mentors before deciding on the three they want to take through to the live shows.

One by one, each act will be informed of the choice in what’s sure to be a very tear filled ten minutes of telly.

What happens next?

It’s TIME TO FACE THE MUSIC with the live shows. The twelve finalists will perform head to head and the public will decide who stays.

The X Factor airs this Saturday and Sunday on ITV.
