Grace Davies is looking unbeatable on The X Factor 2017 as the live shows near.

Sunday evening was the start of the Six Chair Challenge for 2017 with the super competitive Girls category, mentored by Sharon Osbourne.

Each of the Girls took to the stage one at a time, battling for one of six seats which represent places at judges’ houses.

While the judges – and the live audience at Wembley Arena – all offered up their opinions, it was up to Sharon alone to decide who got a chair.

Grace chose to perform an original song called Do It Better having previously performed self-penned tracks at her room and bootcamp auditions.

“This is the sequel to my bootcamp audition called Do It Better,” she explained. “This is how I felt a few moths after my break up still better but I realised I can do it better without him.”

“I’m definitely starting to believe in myself,” Grace added on the show. “I need to fight for it now.”

Sharon gave Grace a chair, securing herself a spot at judges’ houses.

Grace has been the favourite to win The X Factor 2017 ever since her audition aired in the first episode, and nothing yet has slowed down her journey.

Oddschecker report that the Blackburn singer has had 46% of bets out of the whole market since the close of Sunday’s show, and her odds have now fallen to below 2/1, with some bookmakers offering 7/4 on Davies to win it all.

Holly Tandy, who made judges’ houses alongside Grace, has emerged as a second favourite after a dazzling performance of her own. Holly has accounted for 16% of all market bets to win in the same period, more than double anybody else aside from Grace.

The X Factor 2017 continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV as the contestants at judges’ houses in the Boys, Groups and Overs categories are confirmed.

The live shows are expected to start at the end of the month.
