Grace Davies remain the favourite to win The X Factor 2017 as things stand.
We’re currently halfway through the bootcamp stages which end this Saturday night before the six chair challenge begins.
Duo Sean and Conor Price hit a blip in their X Factor journey after leaving the judges unimpressed and asking for a second song at bootcamp on Sunday.
The Blessington natives eventually made it through to the six chair challenge, but their shaky audition has resulted in their odds drifting to 5/1 from 4/1. However, they remain in firm contention for the title as second favourites.
Although she’s yet to sing at bootcamp, Grace Davies remains the one to beat as her odds to win shortened further as the favourite following another impressive performance, Grace, who performed an original track for her first audition, is now 9/4 from 11/4.
16-year-old Holly Tandy is next in the betting after being cut in from 16/1 to 8/1 whilst Rak-Su remain the strongest of the groups at 9/1.
Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports commented: “Simon Cowell called Sean and Conor Price’s first bootcamp audition the least favourite performance of theirs and although they made it through after a redemption performance of Ed Sheeran’s Sing they have been eased out to 5/1 from 4/1.”
She added “Despite the drift however they are Grace Davies, who is the 9/4 favourite to win, main threat in the competition.”
