Georgina Panton is through to the six chair challenge on The X Factor 2017 after her bootcamp performance.

20-year-old Georgina from Birmingham impressed the judges in tonight’s arena auditions, singing Beyoncé’s Sweet Dreams.

“Bootcamp is so tough,” said Georgina, “I never thought that I’d be at this stage. This is the biggest thing ever. This is like going to university and I’ve never been to university.”

The mum-of-one opens up about feeling like a “loser” after giving birth aged 16. “I felt like I wasn’t going to be anything… I’m going to put my all into my performance. Every single word means so much.

“I may come across as confident but I’ve built my character up like this, really I’m a little person screaming for help.”

After singing for the panel and live audience at Wembley Arena, Georgina made the cut through to the six chair challenge.

“You have shocked us all, you’re going through to the six chair challenge,” Sharon Osbourne told her.

Georgina previously declared herself the winner of The X Factor at her very first audition.

Georgina made quite the entrance into the judges’ room as auditions for the new series took place earlier this year.

“I think I am well, I am the winner of The X Factor 2017,” she confidently declared.

Georgina told cameras that she’s a full time mum to her 4 year old son who she had when she was 16.

“I’m singing for him,” Georgina explained. “He’s in my head at all times. I’m going to put my game face on and this is it for me and my son.”

After getting the panel smiling with her upbeat personality, it was then Georgina’s time to sing.

She performed Rihanna’s Love On The Brain for the judges which got a mixed reaction.

Simon Cowell said: “I have to say something, you are a little bit all over the place. There were a lot of notes that were all over the place… but I really like you.”

“To sing Rihanna you have to be a confident, sexy woman and own it and you had that,” Alesha Dixon added.

Sharon originally compared Georgina to an “untrained racehorse” before describing the mum-of-one as “fearless”.

Despite some reservations from the judges, Georgina got her four yeses through to the next round.

The X Factor 2017 airs Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
