The X Factor 2017 has revealed its latest schedule ahead of the latest episodes.
The X Factor returns this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV with what will be a bootcamp double bill as was previously planned.
However Saturday's episode (September 30), which will begin as 8PM as originally stated, will now run for an extra 30 minutes until 10PM.
It’s Boot Camp! And the remaining contestants are put through their paces, having to perform once again for the judges in a series of singing challenges.
First, contestants must race to the Wall of Songs and choose a song which they will have to perform together in groups of four. If they succeed in impressing Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh, the contestants will earn a coveted place at the next stage of Boot Camp, the Arena Auditions.
Sunday's episode (October 1) remains running for 90 minutes between 7:30PM and 9PM.
The bootcamp stage then continues for a third episode the Saturday after (October 8), starting at the slightly later time of 8:15PM. This episode runs 90 minutes to 9:45PM.
Tonight sees Bootcamp come to a close as the arena auditions continue and the remaining contestants take to the stage at Wembley arena to perform in front of a live audience for the first time in the competition.
If they impress the judges, and the audience, they will then move on to the next stage of the competition: the Six Chair Challenge, meaning they are one step closer to securing a coveted place at Judges’ Houses.Advertisements
Dermot O’Leary will be on hand to guide viewers through all the action as well as providing hopefuls with those much-needed ‘Dermot hugs’
Six chair challenge then follows with the first of three episodes starting straight after on Sunday (October 9) between 7:30PM and 9PM.
