The X Factor 2017 is back ITV tonight (Saturday) and here’s a first preview at the latest contestants.
We’re now past the halfway point of this year’s auditions but there remains plenty of talented (and not so talented) acts to see.
Tonight sees the room try outs continue as the latest batch of hopefuls find themselves eyeball to eyeball with the judges.
Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh are all back on the panel this year, joined by guest judge Alesha Dixon at Manchester and Edinburgh’s auditions.
And as always, they’re accompanied by host Dermot O’Leary who returns to guide us through the series continuing tonight.
This evening, Dermot will be welcoming another ten acts to the audition room where they’ll need to leave with three yeses to make it through to bootcamp.
Which of tonight’s acts will impress?
Meet tonight’s contestants on The X Factor 2017 below…
X Factor 2017 contestants

Spencer Sutherland is a 24-year-old singer from Ohio, USA who is out of his home country for the first time for The X Factor. He sings Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On but Simon Cowell is concerned Spencer is too “corny”.
ITG
In The Genetics – aka ITG – are made up of Alex (18) and Leon (22) who are brothers and hotel singers from Norwich, where they perform alongside their mum and nan. For their X Factor audition, the pair sing Ed Sheeran’s Don’t.
Matt Linnen
Matt Linnen is a 28-year-old plasterer from Southend, Essex who is “riding solo” at the auditions. Matt’s model looks get people talking but will his cover of Ray LaMontagne’s Trouble impress?
Scarlett Lee
19-year-old Scarlett Lee is a make-up artist from Surrey who has a huge family of supporters with her. They watch on as Scarlett is given a hard time by the judges after Simon stops her first performance for being “too annoying.”
Rai-Elle
16-year-old student Rai-Elle from Croydon started singing when she was five. After singing Awolnation’s Sail, the teenager is branded “fearless” by Nicole Scherzinger.
Brad Howard
30-year-old model Brad Howard from Manchester catches the eye of Nicole Scherzinger as he steps into the audition room. But will his performance of Stevie Wonder’s Lately win her over?
Peter Warick
51-year-old Peter Warick from Northampton arrives in the audition room with a cake as X Factor meets the Great British Bake Off. Let’s hope there’s no soggy bottom as Peter sings Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass.

22-year-old singer Alisah Bonaobra is from Manila, Philippines where she finished as runner up on their version of The Voice. Hoping for better success on The X Factor, Alisah sings Beyoncé’s Listen.
