The Price Brothers are made up of 17-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Conor, a pair are students and buskers from Blessington, Ireland.

Telling the judges they had been singing together for three years, the brothers appeared on the show at the weekend.

The teenagers picked Jimi Hendrix’s All Along The Watchtower to sing at their audition.

“It’s an old song and we think we can bring a bit of youth and energy to the song,” they told the judges.

After the performance, Nicole Scherzinger praised: “Your voice Conor is so amazing, I love it. And Sean, I feel your voice compliments it so well. Awesome.”

And Simon Cowell declared: “This probably one of the best auditions we’ve had. I don’t want to change a single thing about you.”

Since airing, the audition has prompted a “mental” response according to the brothers.

Sean said: “Our followers on social media are still climbing, our Youtube views are still climbing and we’re just riding the wave – it’s brilliant. We never thought we’d see the day.”

Conor added: “It’s a shock because you never really expect that response. You just go out and do what you do, everything you want to.

“Then you go to this massive audition and it changes everything, the way you’ve been living your life like that.”

Speaking to the Irish Mirror, the boys reflected on their successful audition: “The judges are obviously all massive names with a lot of power in the music industry.

“But they’re just four people and we’re well used to singing in front of people.

“We went in with that attitude, to just impress like they’re four normal people – that’s what they are I suppose.”
