Engaged couples compete to win a dream wedding in the BBC One show.

Lorraine Kelly and Rob Beckett host the new series, which is back on tonight on BBC One from January 20, at 7.05pm

Each week two happy couples, poised to tie the knot, and their friends and family will go head to head in order to win fabulous prizes, a dream honeymoon, and most importantly the most extraordinary wedding ceremony ever which will be broadcast to the nation.

Alongside hosts Lorraine and Rob are a host of celebrities.

This weekend they include Jimmy Osmond, McFly’s Tom Fletcher and Harry Judd, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, Fred Sirieix of First Dates and comedian Tom Allen.

Following the first two episodes – which were watched by 2.2 million people – viewers haven’t exactly been won over.

The response on Twitter has been largely negative with @running_man73 tweeting: “#WeddingDayWinners the WORST programme I’ve every ever watched”

‏ @tandcbroking agreed: “Absolute pants. This must be one of the worst television shows ever. EVER. And the worst thing is that it’s made with OUR money. #WeddingDayWinners”

And @GillHayward1 quipped: “The new series of Room 101 has started… is it too late to nominate #WeddingDayWinners ??”

Meanwhile, @JohnP5269 posted to Twitter: “Dear Trading Standards. I wish to complain about the BBC1 show #WeddingDayWinners

“1-It was listed as entertainment and it patently isn’t. 2-Rob Beckett is listed as a comedian and he patently isn’t.

“I look forward to your reply.”
