Giggly Benji Matthews wowed the The X Factor 2017 judges with an Alicia Keys cover this weekend.
Nervous 17-year-old Benji stepped in front of the panel on Saturday having travelled from Cornwall.
“Sorry I’ve got a really nervous annoying giggle,” Benji told the judges.
But Sharon Osbourne reassured: “It’s alright, it’s wonderful!
Benji went on to tell the panel that he started singing seriously after being inspired by Whitney Hoston’s music after her death in 2012.
However it was not a Whitney track that Benji chose to perform, instead singing his rendition of Alicia Key’s If I Ain’t Got You.
And it impressed Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger who put him through to Boot Camp.

The X Factor 2017 airs Saturday and Sunday night at 8PM on ITV.
Another act hoping for yeses this weekend was Russell Jones who got flirty with Nicole.
Russell was looking to prove himself the King of The X Factor but was in need of a Queen.
He hoped to seal the deal with the Judges as he belts out his very own version of Jungle Book’s I Wanna be Like You, which included a special invitation to the ‘gorgeous Queen of X Factor’, Nicole.
The Pussycat Doll danced along to Russell’s performance in her seat as the he joined Benji in the next round.
Now through to the next stage, they face some stiff competition from the girls this year.
Right now singer-songwriter Grace Davies is the one to beat after four audition shows, having originally wowed the judges in the first week with her self-penned song Roots.
And last week the shining star of the latest X Factor auditions was 22-year-old Deanna from Anguilla who went straight into the betting as the 6/1 second favourite to win.
The X Factor airs Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
