X Factor 2017 spoilers! Meet tonight's contestants at the auditions

The X Factor 2017 is back on ITV tonight (Saturday) with episode five: Here’s a first look at the latest contestants.

Earlier this month auditions kicked off with everything from a beatboxing Ed Sheeran medley to an emotional original song.

Try outs continued last week with another batch of talented acts making it through to bootcamp and now we’re at the halfway point of the first round.

This evening sees the room audition continue on ITV from 8PM with a whole host of brand new acts hoping to make it through to the next round.

Back behind the judges’ desk this year are Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh, with guest judge Alesha Dixon also making another appearance.

They’re joined Dermot O’Leary who’s on hand to offer a supportive hug or high five to the contestants whether it’s a yes or no.

Acts need three or more yeses to make bootcamp – but who will get through?

Meet tonight’s contestants on The X Factor 2017 below…

Amrick Channa
44-year-old insurance processor Amrick Channa – nicknamed Diva – from Kent opens up the show tonight by declaring himself the next big superstar. His performance of Technotronic’s Pump Up The Jam has Nicole singing along but will he get through?

Benji Matthews
Nervous 17 -year-old college student Benji Matthews from Cornwall endears himself to the judges before even singing with his adorable giggle. But will the panel still be impressed as he begins to sing, performing Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You.

Beverly West
57 year-old Beverly West from Kent shares her recent online dating experience with the panel before singing Shirley Bassey classic Big Spender for the panel.

Tracy Leanne Jefford
34-year-old full-time mum from Middlesex Tracy Leanne Jefford previously auditioned for The X Factor back in 2006 where she made bootcamp. Having lost more than 5 stone and gone through a divorce her life is very different now but her passion for singing remains. Tracy sings The Shirelles’ Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.

Ronnie Parker
68-year-old confectionery shop worker Ronnie Parker from Preston tells Simon Cowell off at her audition for asking her age before she sings Tina Turner’s Simply The Best for the music mogul.

John Fitzsimons
66-year-old retired lecturer John Fitzsimons from Exeter started playing music in bands from the age of 19. With over 20 years of experience, John performs David Bowie’s Space Oddity for the judges.

Sean and Conor Price
Brothers Sean (17) and Conor (15) are students and buskers from Blessington, Ireland. They “brig a bit of youth and energy” to Jimi Hendrix classic All Along The Watchtower.

Russell Jones
25 year-old nursing home singer Russell Jones from Wales gets flirting with Nicole Scherzinger and cheeky with the rest of the judges as he performs his take on The Jungle Book classic I Wanna Be Like You.

Gregor Coleman
24 year-old singer Gregor Coleman from Glasgow currently busks but it may have given him some bad habits. After singing Vance Joy’s Riptide at his original audition, the judges tell Gregor to come back later with something more unique.

Nicole Simpson
22-year-old musician Nicole Simpson from Scotland returns to The X Factor having previously made bootcamp in 2011. She performs Drake’s Just Hold On for the panel, including guest judge Alesha Dixon.

The X Factor 2017 airs tonight at 8PM on ITV. The show continues Sunday at the same time.
