ITV’s Liar came out on top of BBC One’s Rellik in last night’s viewing figures.
The two crime thrillers, both written by brothers Harry and Jack Williams (The Missing), went head to head at 9PM.
There was a clear winner with Liar coming out on top with 5.3 million viewers to Rellik’s 3.6 million.
However neither show could outdo the soaps which topped the night. Coronation Street scored the best numbers with 6.8 million and 6.6 million for its two epidsodes.
EastEnders enjoyed one of its best ratings of the past year with 6.6 million viewers, while Emmerdale had 6 million.
