Grace Davies remains the favourite to win The X Factor 2017 after the latest round of auditions.

It was week two of the try outs at the weekend with us now four audition shows into the series.

The shining star of the latest X Factor auditions was 22-year-old Deanna from Anguilla as she goes straight into the betting as the 6/1 second favourite to win.

Deanna Mussington wowed the judges with her powerful rendition of Whitney Houston’s classic, “I Have Nothing” after travelling 4,000 miles from her home in Anguilla.

Another band has found their way into the top four of the betting, The CutKelvins, a family group comprising of two brothers and a sister. The lady of the group, Shereen is formerly of Neon Jungle, who had a No.4 hit with “Braveheart”. They go in a 8/1, ahead of fellow group Rak-Su at 9/1.

Aidan Martin returned after ten years, having reached bootcamp back in 2007, and won over the judges once more, this time with his own song “Punchline”. Martin, who is a barman, is currently priced as a 16/1 shot to go all the way this time round.

Another newbie who impressed was Frenchman Kevin Davy White. Kevin serenaded the judges with his take on Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” and got four yes votes. Having already appeared on The Voice France, Kevin is a strong contender and sixth in line to win the show at 12/1.

However Grace Davis, who closed the first audition show, remains the one to beat as the firm favourite at 9/2.

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports said: “Deanna was the standout performance from week two of the X factor auditions with punters already latching onto the 22-year-old’s 6/1 odds.”

She added “The Groups are strong this year with two featuring in the top four in the betting already. The CutKelvins are the hottest group to join the line-up at 8/1 but Rak-Su are close behind at 9/1.”
