Filipino boy band JBK auditioned for The X Factor 2017 tonight.

But can they replicate the success of 2015 ladies 4th Impact, who made it all the way to the quarter finals?

Like 4th Impact (originally 4th) power, JBK flew to the UK especially to audition for The X Factor.

“We flew all the way from the Philippines. We arrived yesterday after a 24 hour flight,” they told the judges.

Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Lawrenz Ordonio make up the trio, who sing Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down.

Louis Walsh told the boys: “I love your dedication, flying from the Philippines, it was good.”

Nicole Scherzinger added: “You are making all the Filipinos proud right now.”

With yeses from the panel, JBK made it through to the next round but will they make it to the live show?

Meanwhile, more contestants on this evening’s episode had also flown in from afar to sing for the judges.

We met Elysa who had travelled all the way from Sydney, Australia with her mum to perform for the judges. The Aussie sings Fleur East’s Sax after just arriving in the UK.

Also taking a long haul flight to perform was 22-year-old musician Deanna from Anguilla, a British colony in the Caribbean. She performed Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing in her bid to get four yeses from the judges.

Meanwhile, other acts on tonight’s show included Bukky Shittu who got flirty with Simon and Harrison Styles whose name required a double take.

Plus there’s The Cutkelvins, made up of Jay (24), Shereen (20) and Kyle (23) Cutkelvin who are brothers and sister from Lanark, Scotland.

The X Factor 2017 airs Saturday and Sunday nights on ITV.
