X Factor contestant Kayleigh Taylor is in another awkward situation following her audition.
Already this week it’s been revealed that Kayleigh previously made an unfortunate appearance on Jeremy Kyle, accused of stealing her dad’s phone.
Then ‘racist’ messages sent by Kayleigh came to light, resulting in the singer “wholeheartedly apologising” for her past behaviour.
Now it’s been revealed that Kayleigh previously slated the very show she auditioned for, including blasting boss Simon Cowell.
The Sun reports how Kayleigh branded Simon a “silly d**k head” in a rant on Facebook and vowed never to watch “the sh**ty programme again”.
“You don’t need X Factor you’ll do great on your own,” she added.
Despite Kayleigh’s comments, her ex has claimed she auditioned for the X Factor for FIVE YEARS before finally making it front of the judges this series.
“She’s desperate to be on TV,” he suggested.
In an interview with the Liverpool Echo yesterday, Kayleigh responded to her critics as she vowed to continue in the competition .
“I don’t think I’ve blown my chance,” Kayleigh said. “I’ve spoken to the producers every day and they’ve just said be honest.”
“They’ve told me not to retaliate but it’s hard not to come back when you’re being slagged off all over the internet.”
After being branded racist over other outbursts on Facebook, Kayleigh explained: “I’ve got more people there on my side so I will not be coming off Facebook. I’m not a nasty person people are going to have to make their own judgements.
“In the past I’ve not considered other people’s feelings I’ve just said it. Now I’ve realised what I’ve done, I’m ashamed.
“I’ve got friends who are mixed race and I think if they’ve read that, what do they think?”
Liverpool mum Kayleigh first surprised the judges on The X Factor last weekend in Saturday night’s first audition show.
The 27 year-old mum of three told cameras she only took up singing five years ago after performing in a competition called Benidorm’s Got Talent while on holiday.
In the audition room, Kayleigh shocked Simon when she revealed a tattoo of his name on her rear before singing Evanescence’s My Immortal.
“You’ve got a brilliant personality and you don’t realise what talent you’ve got,” Louis Walsh said.
The X Factor 2017 auditions continue Saturday and Sunday nights on ITV.
