Jack and Joel say they'll bring more beatboxing to The X Factor after their hit audition.
Jack (22) and Joel (22) were one of the first few acts to sing for the judges on this year's series at the weekend.
The pair of pals are a singing duo from London who met while studying at Oxford University.
The duo, who previously performed together in an a capella group, performed a Ed Sheeran Medley for the judges and got four yeses from the panel.
"You're like a breath of fresh air," Louis Walsh told the pair, "Two people coming in, being honest, full of personality, full of likeability and talent - it was fantastic."
Now the pair have promised more unique performances when they move forward to bootcamp.
Jack told The Sun newspaper: "We've still got loads more to show. We do a lot of medleys and mash-ups and Joel's beat-boxing is also going to be more on display at bootcamp.
"What people enjoy from our act is that we are quite different. The harmonies are there but also Joel is super-talented with his beat-boxing and guitar.
"Our audition should be quite fresh rather than what people are used to - a singer singing a song."
Meanwhile, Joel vowed the duo would never go solo.
"Together we are so much stronger than our individual parts," he said. "On stage it feels so natural to be performing together.
"We are trying to take thing step-by-step and are not letting anything distract us."
Jack agreed: "If I was performing on my own I would probably have crumbled by now.
"But when you've got a friendship like ours, it makes you feel so much more comfortable and relaxed."
The X Factor 2017 continues this Saturday and Sunday night on ITV.
