The X Factor 2017 continues on ITV tonight (Sunday) and here’s a first look at all the contestants.
Yesterday saw auditions kick off with everything from a beatboxing Ed Sheeran medley to an emotional original song.
This evening sees the room try outs continue on ITV from 8PM with 11 brand new acts hoping for at least three yeses from the judges.
Back behind the judges’ desk this year are Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
However in tonight’s episode they’re joined by guest judge Alesha Dixon.
She steps in for an absent Nicole at try outs in Manchester before then subbing in for an ill Sharon at auditions in Edinburgh.
The one constant throughout it all is host Dermot O’Leary, on hand to guide us viewers through the auditions and offer a supportive hug to the contestants.
While the judges line up may have switched up, the acts still need at least three yeses to make bootcamp…
LLoyd Macey
23-year-old student LLoyd Macey from The Valleys, South Wales has come to his audition with the whole family. Lloyd’s nan Christine even joins the judging panel after bringing Simon fish finger sandwiches. That’s one yes guaranteed, but will a performance of Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down get four more from the other judges?
Shanaya Atkinson-Jones
19-year-old Shanaya Atkinson is from County Durham, where she lives with her mum and dad. Shanaya confides in the judges about her rough start in life before leaving the panel in tears with A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera’s Say Something.
Georgina Panton
20-year-old singer and full time mum from Birmingham Georgina Panton confidently declares herself the winner of The X Factor 2017 before her first audition. Hopefully she won’t fall at the first hurdle, singing Rihanna’s Love On The Brain for the judges.
Nicole Caldwell
Nicole Caldwell is 27-year-old pub singer from Paisley, Scotland. Struggling with nerves and her confidence, Nicole opens up to the judges before belting out Prince’s Purple Rain.
GaGa Lord
GaGa Lord is the ‘original GaGa’. The 40-year-old dinner lady at a primary school is originally from the Philippines but now lives in the UK. At her audition, she sings Bond movie title tune Diamonds Are Forever by Shirley Bassey. Nicole and Alesha join Gaga as Bond girls during her performance.
Jordan Rabjohn
Jordan Rabjohn is a 22-year-old phone shop sales assistant from Sheffield who starts his audition with an awful joke. Jordan writes and records his own songs whenever he’s not working. One of those songs is Mexico which he performs for the judges.
The X Factor 2017 continues Sunday night at 8PM.
